To kick off the start of the new year, I wanted to share with you all
how I make my own homemade hair removing wax. Personally, I prefer
waxing over shaving because it keeps the hair from growing back thicker
and faster.
---Recipe---
1/4 Cup of Water
1/4 Cup of Lemon Juice
2 Full Cups of Brown Sugar
You will need a measuring cup (try not to eyeball it, you want the mixture to be very precise).
For permanent hair removal a technician uses a long pulse laser which
distributes the intense light on the specific area being treated. The
laser disables the hairs that are in their active growth cycle. The
laser heats up the hair follicles and destroys the hair shaft. There's
no reason to avoid shaving prior to starting laser unlike tweezing.
Since the laser is able to target the hair shaft, the amount of hair
exposed is incidental.
